Super Bowl XLV will be the 45th annual edition of the Super Bowl in American football, and the 41st annual championship game of the modern-era National Football League (NFL). The game, to be played on February 6, 2011, will pit the AFC champion Pittsburgh Steelers against the NFC champion Green Bay Packers to decide the NFL champion for the 2010 season. The game will be held at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, the first time that the Super Bowl will be held in the Dallas–Fort Worth area; and the third time it will be held in Texas (Houston was the host city to Super Bowls VIII and XXXVIII). Kickoff time is approximately 5:25pm CST (UTC-06). This will be the eighth appearance in the Super Bowl for the Steelers (who hold the record with 6 Super Bowl wins) and the fifth for the Packers (who hold the record with 12 overall NFL titles, including 3 Super Bowl wins and 9 league titles prior to the Super Bowl-era).

The Packers are three-point favorites, making this the first Super Bowl in which the Steelers were underdogs since Super Bowl XXX. In all four previous Super Bowls that Green Bay played in, they were favored to win.

The Steelers and Packers did not play each other this season. The last time the two teams met was December 20, 2009, when the Steelers defeated the Packers 37–36 at Heinz Field. That game was marked by four lead changes in the fourth quarter and a game-winning touchdown pass from Ben Roethlisberger to Mike Wallace as time expired.

Two years ago Super Bowl XLIII had achieved the largest television audience in U.S. history with a total of 151.6 million viewers, according to official national ratings data by Nielsen Media Research.

Most of America will be glued to their HD TV's to watch or at least have an interest in the game because it will be the most popular current event of the Sporting World for that day! Super Bowl Office pools go through the roof! Mostly the ones where you buy a square. Its probably the biggest party day outside of 4th of July and Memorial day. If it's not for the game people will watch but for the high cost ads that run.

But the biggest question might be while your attention has pulled you over to the SuperBowl is "Who's going to win?" Its nice to watch and root for your team if they happen to make it. If your team didn't make it, maybe you don't care so much who wins. However at one point or another before the game begins, someone is going to ask you, "Who do you like?"
